We are a grassroots coalition of Orange County residents committed to standing up for our unhoused neighbors and pushing back against the growing wave of anti-homeless sentiment in our community.

A recent study revealed that over 40% of Orange County’s homeless population are children and seniors—our most vulnerable residents, left to face extreme conditions with no safety net.

  • Rally community support for the conversion of the Kaley Ave work release facility into a functional, compassionate emergency shelter.
  • Build a network of residents ready to speak at public meetings, write op-eds, sign petitions, and show visible support for any initiative that provides help, not harm, to the unhoused.
  • Develop a consistent counter campaign against disinformation about our homeless population and fear-based narratives with truth, empathy, and unity.
  • Pursue ongoing education opportunities to dispel misinformation and stigmas around homelessness
  • Mobilize people to upcoming events, actions and frontline occurrences to ensure public visibility takes place
  • Build pressure for elected officials to pass or develop policies to support the homeless by showing up in large numbers to speak in favor of these solutions
  • Archive data and become the experts who are speaking truth to power on facts that need more exposure
  • Influence decision makers or force leaders to make a public stance on issues that matter
